We are seeking an experienced building control manager to act as the Council’s most senior advisor for professional matters relating to Building Control, leading on developing the service, seeking continuous improvement to enhance competitiveness within Building Control. You will fulfil the Council’s duties across the borough resulting from legislative and corporate responsibilities.

An experienced Building Control professional, you will hold a membership of a professional body relevant to the building control profession, for example Association of Building Engineers; Institution of Civil Engineers; Institution of Structural Engineers; Royal Institute of British Architects; Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
