Two year fixed term contract / secondment opportunity

We are seeking an experienced person to join the Networks Team. Reporting to the Group Engineer and working as part of a busy, friendly team, you will work with developers, and other council teams to ensure that the Council’s obligations are discharged efficiently and effectively in order to reduce disruption to the public highway and enable the Council to fulfil its network management duty.

Duties will include, but are not limited to, acting as a single point of contact for Streetscene, advising developers/agents in order to create effective and deliverable CLP”s, liaising with Hackney Transport Planning Planning teams, giving advice as appropriate.

You will have a good working knowledge of all current legislation and a methodical approach which enables you to undertake your work effectively and efficiently. 

Experienced of working in a similar fast-paced environment, IT-literate, with good working knowledge of a range of packages including Microsoft Word and Excel. You must have excellent written skills and an ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and external clients.
