An exciting opportunity is available within the Compliance & Relationships Team for the role of Health and Safety Compliance Officer. 

This role presents an opportunity to help shape the future of property safety across the Councils Strategic Property Portfolio, and advance the Councils Health and Safety objectives in providing safe premises for our staff, users and others. 

The role will involve working as part of a new team developing compliance management for the Council’s Strategic Property Portfolio, being a lead for the introduction of a Health & Safety Management System for Statutory Compliance, working with a variety of teams in identifying and developing duty holder competency.

The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role and experience in measuring and improving property safety performance. You will also have or are working towards a NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) and Membership of IOSH.
