An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Policy & Governance Officer with knowledge of governance systems to ensure high level decisions are taken within corporate and / or statutory frameworks and that these are appropriately planned, informed, recorded and monitored.
This is a wide ranging role, working with the education service’s Senior Leadership Team and a range of senior managers. With excellent verbal and written communication skills, you will manage and clerk high profile decision taking meetings as well as undertaking research, policy and project work ensuring managers are kept abreast of local educational developments and changes to national policy and legislation. Your role will also involve development of new ways of working to ensure efficient and effective service delivery and governance support.
The ability to work on multiple activities simultaneously and prioritise the most critical is essential.
