All of our apprenticeships last at least 13 months and combine paid work, training, and study towards a recognised qualification in a relevant subject. As an apprentice with us, you will earn at least the London Living Wage, and get a package of support including additional learning and development, and help to progress into a job or further apprenticeship. Over two thirds of our apprentices stay with Hackney Council.

We are looking for candidates who have passion and enthusiasm, reliability, good organisation skills, a desire to deliver a high quality service for Hackney residents, the ability to form good working relationships with others and a commitment to undertaking a qualification.

Regulatory Compliance is about regulation and the vital role it plays in the creation of a positive and supportive business environment, whilst also assuring public and environmental protection. We have two apprenticeships in our Enforcement team and one apprenticeship in our Markets and Street Trading service.

You will spend 20% of your time working towards your qualification or taking part in training and development activities, with the remaining time spent gaining work-based experience.
