12 Month Fixed Term Contract / Secondment Opportunity

An opportunity has arisen to appoint a Fixed Term Customer Administration Officer to provide administrative support to the Tenancy and Home Ownership Service Division covering a wide range of areas, supporting Climate, Homes and Economy Department within the London Borough of Hackney.

The role requires the successful candidate to provide excellent levels of administrative support including general financial administration, minute taking, allocation of external correspondence, complaints, freedom of information and access to service requests. The processing and issuing of essential user estate parking permits, so an awareness of the importance of confidentiality is paramount.

The ideal candidate should work well in a pressurised and fast paced environment. You must have a flexible approach to your work whilst being able to plan and prioritise workloads efficiently and effectively to ensure that tight deadlines are met in a hybrid role. In this role it is crucial for you to maintain high levels of service standards at all times, whilst also possessing an understanding and commitment to promoting and implementing the Council’s Equal Opportunities policies.

You must also possess in-depth knowledge and experience of using Google Suite Applications; in particular Google documents, Google sheets, Google drive and GMail. Experience of using Cedar, OneCase is desirable. You will also have good awareness of and an understanding of budget and financial systems.
