An opportunity has arisen to work as a Business Support Officer based within Hackney’s Domestic Abuse Intervention Service, Hackney Council’s Team of The Year 2025. The role involves –
– administering and minuting a variety of panels which discuss and safeguard people subjected to different forms of abuse
– minuting and organising different strategic / partnership meetings that take forward Hackney’s Eliminating Violence Against Women and Girls Strategy 2025-2029
– creating and maintaining client files and progressing worksteps on Hackney’s Mosaic case management system
– producing, analysing and reporting on a range of data for different audiences
– supporting the wide variety of work undertaken in the service e.g. public campaigns and events, therapeutic group interventions for domestic abuse survivors, bespoke projects with key partner agencies
Please apply if you are –
– Keen to be part of the service in the Council that leads on a wide range of issues relating to Violence Against Women and Girls including misogyny, sexual exploitation, domestic homicide, harmful practices and intergenerational abuse
– Able to work in a service whose culture is one of high expectations and high levels of trust in its workforce
– Confident about using ICT in an accurate and timely way to record, minute and disseminate information accurately and in a timely way
– Organised and able to plan and manage a workload involving competing priorities
– Interested in developing, trying out and improving ways of gathering and reporting on data and organising the work of a busy service
– Adaptable and dynamic, enjoying a workload that involves different types of tasks, from helping to plan and organise a partnership event to minuting Hackney’s MARAC (Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conference) to tracking actions relating to serious domestic abuse incidents.
An Enhanced DBS check is required for this role.
