As a Reablement Team Leader, your role will be to provide day-to-day organisational input, within the framework of supervision by the Registered Manager, to a team of reablement care support workers providing services based within the Provided Services. You will ensure good quality person-centred care is provided and that the services provided are acceptable to service users, meet quality standards within the resources available, meet legislative requirements and achieve best professional practice.
Proven experience of staff supervision is required, combined with experience of creating and managing rotas. You will have experience of working in Health and Social Care setting providing care and support to adults in settings that are regulated by the Care Quality Commission, and understand how to apply these regulations to ensure the delivery of high-quality Care.
The role involves maintaining close communication with residents, families, social workers and allied health professionals, conducting quality assurance checks, handling complaints, and ensuring compliance with health and safety and safeguarding standards. You will also maintain accurate records and reports, participate in team and multi-disciplinary meetings, contribute to service development, and champion best practices within the team. You will be able to build and maintain positive and respectful relationships with service users, families, staff, colleagues and representatives of other organisations.
The service works with the most complex and at-risk service users, ensuring that their dignity, choice and respect are the cornerstones of all that it does, allowing people to remain as independent as possible
Applicants must be available and willing to work shifts as allocated over the seven-day-a-week rota.
Please note that an enhanced DBS check is required.
