We have achieved a huge amount: our services, our schools, our public spaces are all amongst the very best. We have changed the reputation, not just of the Council, but of Hackney itself. Bringing jobs and investment into the borough, securing the legacy from the 2012 Games, and making this a place of which we can all be proud.
Hackney Council is undertaking an ambitious programme of regeneration across a number of housing estates and sites across the borough. We aim to transform places by building new neighbourhoods with well-designed housing, streets and public spaces. The programme is building more than 3,000 new homes over the next 10 years and will deliver much needed new council rented, shared ownership and outright sale homes across Hackney. Strategy, Assurance & Private Sector Housing is a highly skilled multi-disciplinary service that provides specialist support and leads on bespoke portfolios across the Regeneration, Economy & Housing Development division.
