Young Hackney is the Council’s single service for all young people aged 6 – 25. We aim to help all of Hackney’s young people to enjoy their youth and become independent and successful adults. We are committed to empowering the youth of our community by providing a supportive and inspiring environment for their growth and development. Young Hackney runs activities for young people across the borough, and offers advice and help support to young people who need it.

You will be working as part of our Substance Misuse Service providing a comprehensive business support for the team, delivering the provision of an effective service to the young people we work with.

We are looking for someone who is a great communicator and is passionate about supporting people, while also able to challenge constructively and successfully manage a number of differing priorities. You will be well organised, and have good data collection and analytic skills, ensuring you are able to provide the best customer service and be committed to achieving high quality outcomes. You will have proven experience in a business support or administrative role, and experience of working in children or youth settings is also desirable.

We are looking for someone who is a self-starter with a ‘can-do’ attitude who is looking for an opportunity to help shape our offer to young people in Hackney.
