We are looking for a dedicated Leasehold Consultation & Billing Officer
to carry out project work as a part of the Consultation and Billing Team at Hackney Council. This role is crucial to undertake project work to resolve legacy issues impacting homeowner recharging and income recovery.
In this position, you will collaborate with colleagues to undertake project work in relation to legacy issues, lease and transfer of part reviews and updating and/or creating databases in response to recent legislation which directly impacts the Council’s ability to recharge homeowners.
You’ll also maintain and update the major works database, ensuring all customer accounts are accurate and reconciled. Your essential financial administration skills will support the successful delivery of Homeownership Services. To liaise with appropriate Council departments, sections, regulatory bodies, auditors and partners to encourage good practice and effective financial accounting and information sharing to enable the team to review, update and issue invoices and notices.
