This requires our HR & OD service to provide agile, targeted and excellent support to enable Directorates to deliver.  To meet this aim, we have reviewed the way we are organised and how we deliver our HR services, bringing together our corporate and schools teams into a single integrated HR & OD service.

This is an exciting time to join our newly designed Resourcing and Talent Acquisition team.

As Recruitment Consultant, you will support the Recruitment Campaign Leads in delivering the best approach to develop strategic resourcing plans to enable the successful delivery of attracting, recruiting and retaining a high calibre of staff. You will also provide professional advice and guidance to Recruitment Coordinators.

Using your expert knowledge, you will deliver a seamless end-to-end recruitment and onboarding journey. You will work in partnership with hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs and design bespoke innovative recruitment strategies using recruitment tools, such as social media networks to attract talent and develop talent pools. You will help screen applicants and provide information and feedback to them as needed.

This role will play an important part in supporting Redeployment and additionally processing sponsorships for key hard to fill roles and supporting the research, design, and development of cost-effective resourcing solutions, activities, and/or interventions to address key resourcing priorities.

You will need to be adept at a range of IT systems, including applicant tracking systems. This is a busy environment so you need to be highly organised and able to prioritise your own work, delegating to others as needed. 

An understanding of working within a large and complex public sector organisation is required.
