Senior Health & Safety Adviser (Asbestos)

This role presents an opportunity to help shape the future of property safety across the Councils Strategic Property Portfolio, and advance the Councils Health and Safety objectives in providing safe premises for our staff, users and others. 

The post holder will be responsible for taking a lead on the effective delivery of services to achieve continuous improvement in the safe management of risk from asbestos and asbestos containing materials for the Council in accordance with Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012.

The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role and environment or within the asbestos industry and will have demonstrable experience in Asbestos Safety Management, Asbestos Survey analysis, and interpretation of air monitoring for both residential and non residential premises.
