In 2024 Hackney Council was reaccredited in the Mayor’s Good Work Standard at Excellence level for a further four years. The Mayor’s Good Work Standard sets the benchmark for the highest employment standards and demonstrates that as an employer, your organisation is contributing to a fairer and more inclusive London. Hackney Council scored highly and retains 100% at ‘Achievement’ level and achieved 96% at Excellence level, demonstrating very strong performance across all four pillars of the Good Work Standard.
